The Overseas Students Meeting Was Held in the Overseas Education School

Since the launch of “persevere in our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” theme-focused education, the Overseas Education School has been centered on solving the practical difficulties of overseas students in studies and life, improving upon students' sense of fulfillment and happiness, also achieving the academic goals of both parties through collaboration of School and students in coherence with its educational philosophy in mind.



In the afternoon of October 17th, the Overseas Students Research Meeting was held in Overseas Education School. Ye Weihua, Dean of Overseas Education School, Lv Saiju, Associate Dean of Overseas Education School, Pan Ying, the cadre of Overseas Students Management, Li Yanting, the overseas student counselor and 20 representatives of overseas students from Pakistan, Morocco, Ethiopia, Ghana and further number of countries attended this meeting. The Research Meeting was presided over by Lv Saiju, Associate Dean of Overseas Education School.


On behalf of Overseas Education School, Ye Weihua extended a sincere greeting and consideration to all overseas students present there and expected to have face-to-face communication with different levels of overseas students including undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. Ye Weihua intended to understand the problems and difficulties the overseas students encountered in their study and life and listened to their opinions and suggestions on the management and service of our school, so that we could make our work better and establish a more effective management and service mechanism for overseas students.



Later, the 20 representatives of overseas students put forward their own opinions on the current teaching, attendance, logistics, security management, medical insurance, student activities and other aspects of Overseas Education School, and communicated with the leaders and teachers. Ye Weihua listened carefully to each student's speech and put forward some suggestions on how to improve the quality of teaching and the living and learning environment of overseas students and how to strengthen the safety organization of overseas students.
