The Overseas Education School(OES)of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was established on February 11, 2019. It has two offices: the Admission Office and the General Administration Office. The school was formerly called the Department of Overseas Students, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, JUFE.

The OES is fully responsible for the education of overseas students of JUFE and for coordinating with various departments inside and outside the university, overseas students' admission, accommodation management, non-academic activities arrangement, formulating, implementing, and supervising the administrative regulations and rules.

The OES is also responsible for the application of national scholarship programs, management of the HSK Test Center, development of short-term study programs, establishing of the overseas student volunteer team, and supporting the host schools to complete academic teaching affairs.

The Development History of JUFE’s Overseas Education   

1. In November 1995, JUFE was approved to enroll international students. 

2. In March 2013, JUFE was granted approval for the Chinese Government Scholarship to educate International Students in China.

3. In September 2014, JUFE enrolled international students at the Doctorate level for the first time, realizing the full spectrum of overseas education from undergraduate to doctoral level.

4. In September 2015, JUFE was granted approval by the Ministry of Commerce to host the program International Master of International Business (IMIB).

5. In December 2015, the Chinese Language International Promotion Center was established in JUFE.

6. In June 2017, JUFE was approved to enroll overseas students through the “Silk Road” Chinese Government Scholarship Program by the Ministry of Education of China.

7. In October 2018, JUFE passed the Quality Evaluation for Overseas Education in China issued by the Ministry of Education of China.

8. In February 2019, based on the Chinese Language International Promotion Center, the Overseas Education School was formally established in JUFE. Moreover, the Chinese Language International Promotion Center was renamed as Overseas Education School (Chinese Language International Promotion Center).

9. In October 2019, JUFE was approved to enroll overseas students through the “Confucius Institute Students Scholarship” by the Confucius Institute headquarters.

10. In June 2020, JUFE was approved to enroll overseas students through the “University Graduate” Chinese Government Scholarship Program by the Ministry of Education of China.
