JUFE News Desk: In order to help international graduates and current students to understand how to succeed in job search and personal career development in a globalized environment, the Overseas Education School arranged a webinar on Career Development Experience on Saturday evening.

The Overseas Education College of our school invited Larry Wang, the Managing Director of Zhi Shang Wang (It is based on training & coaching) and Wang & Li Asia Resources (China’s Recruitment Firm of the Year in 2008) for giving a Lecture. 

In the lecture, Larry Wang told about his attitude towards his career change and views on career choices based on his own experience. Later, he talked about the relevant talents that job seekers should possess under the trend of globalization and put forward the 2 key success factors, professional awareness and soft skills, and  3 key tips to illustrate the importance of soft power, to career development, and put forward your own opinions and suggestions on how to achieve success in the workplace.

At the same time, Larry Wang also discussed some important topics of career development with the students such as How to develop career awareness or career success intelligence quotient, Necessary abilities and personality characteristics in the workplace, How to choose an internship unit, How to cultivate good work habits and so on.

After the lecture, the participants had an online Q&A interaction with Larry Wang. This lecture on career development was an exchange on improving personal professional quality and job-seeking skills. It also allowed participants to learn how to effectively improve personal soft skills and enhance professional awareness. Through this sharing session, the students have a better understanding of the future employment direction, career prospects, and job search planning.
