​The 7th Congress of the Foreign Student Education Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education was successfully held in Beijing through a combination of online and offline attendance. 437 representatives attended the congress. JUFE was successfully elected as a council member of the Foreign Student Education Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, and Professor Huang Xianming, Dean of the Overseas Education School, was elected as a member of the 7th Council.

Chen Yinghui, the First Class Inspector of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Sheng Jianxue, Secretary General of the China Scholarship Council, and Zhao Zhidan, Vice President of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Jiang Enlai, Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Association of Higher Education also attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting reviewed the work report of the sixth session of the Board of Directors, financial report and work report of the Board of Supervisors, voted to adopt the rules of work and election methods of the branch and elected the members of the new session of the Board of Directors and the organizational structure.

The Foreign Student Education Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, founded in 1989, is a national non-governmental academic organization jointly initiated by experts, professors, leading cadres, and relevant parties engaged in the education and management of foreign students and approved by the Ministry of Education. It aims to promote the development of the education of foreign students and make contributions to the development of international education cooperation.
