T​he 2023 International Students Welcome Show and Outstanding Student Award Ceremony were Successfully held

    On December 12, the 2 International Students Welcome Show and Outstanding Student Award Ceremony hosted by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and undertaken by the School of Overseas Education was held in Jiaoqiao Park. Vice President Liu Xiaoli attended the event, and Huang Xianming, Dean of the School of Overseas Education, Wan Yina, Vice Dean, Class of 2023 International Students in China, and some key teachers of the School of Training attended the event. A total of 2023 new students and some old students from 41 countries and regions around the world participated in the ceremony, and everyone gathered together to sing and dance to share this beautiful moment.

    The welcome show kicked off with the opening music of the Universal Hotel California Band, and the enthusiastic melody let go of the dreams and aspirations of overseas students. The energetic street dance performance of the international student dance club ignited the stage in the joyful beat and dynamic drumbeat, and the vitality of youth infected everyone; 20 The Chinese song We Are Different carefully arranged by the international students of the 23rd grade Chinese language advanced class sang the positive youth and passion of the international students in the new era; The performance of the Tai Chi Club of International Students combined with the music full of ancient rhyme, showing a light and elegant posture and a quiet charm, so that thestudents present were deeply immersed in the beauty of Chinese culture. 

      2023 Master of International Business David recited Nian Nujiao Chibi Nostalgia, the recitation of the words made the audience praise again and again, and the next song The Moon Represents My Heart caused the audience to sing together,two different literary forms all told his sincere love for Chinese culture: Mo Ke, an undergraduate major in computer science and technology from 20 to 21, recited Li Bai's poem Will Enter the Wine, his heroic momentum, firm eyes, and chic gestures showed Li Bai's free and handsome temperament to the fullest, and bursts of applause broke out at the scene.

        In the award ceremony for outstanding students, Liu Xiaoli, Huang Xianming, and Wan Yina presented honorary certificates to the outstanding international students in 2022-2023, the winners of the 2023 International Student Solidarity and Friendship Award, the activists of the centennial celebration and the outstanding Lei Feng volunteers, encouraging them to work hard and make continuous progress. Kate, 20 22 Master of International Business, took the stage to speak as a representative of outstanding students, sharing her learning insights in Jiangxai, and expressing her gratitude to the school and teachers.

         Finally, the students from the International Student Music Club played and sang the songs A Million Dreams and We are the world. The audience danced to the music and became a sea of joy.
