In order to foster a sense of understanding, friendship, and love for Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) among international students, Overseas education school held a celebration themed Celebrating the Anniversary, Building Dreams Together on the afternoon of September 29, marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. The event involved organizing a tour of the university's history museum and the Red Cradle Cultural Square for international freshmen, with about 80 new international students participating.

Entering the university’s history museum, the international students embarked on a journey to learn in-depth about the development of the university. The guide provided a detailed introduction to the key events, distinguished alumni, and the unique campus culture from the school’s founding to the present. Special emphasis was placed on the university’s contributions and achievements in the construction of New China. Through the visit, the students not only experienced the rich cultural heritage of JUFE but also gained a more direct understanding of the progress of China’s educational endeavors.

At the Red Cradle Cultural Square, international students, together with members of the SEPTUNE Society from Overseas education school, learned about the origins of National Day and shared the profound meaning conveyed by the Red Cradle Cultural Square. In the end, both Chinese and international students waved bright red national flags, celebrating together and commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China.

Parvej MD Selim, a new master's student from Bangladesh in the Class of 2024, said that the centennial history of JUFE and the unyielding spirit of its people are truly inspiring. China is a great country with a long history and civilization, and I feel extremely honored to have the opportunity to study here.

 This event not only provided international students with a platform to gain a deeper understanding of China and JUFE’s history and culture but also promoted cultural exchange and integration between China and foreign countries. Through the tours, discussions, and interactions, the international students not only deepened their understanding of China’s national conditions but also enhanced their sense of identity and belonging to Chinese culture. Overseas education school will continue to provide more diverse and enriching opportunities for cultural exchange and learning for international students, promoting mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
