To deepen international students’ perception and understanding of Chinese management thought and to promote cross-cultural exchange, the Overseas Education School held a national education-themed event on October 17 at the campus's Chinese Management Thought and Culture Park. Over 50 first-year international students from the Class of 2024 actively participated.
Associate Dean Wan Yina led the students on a tour of the park's main exhibition area, explaining in detail the applications and practices of Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism, and other major schools of Chinese ancient thought in management. She emphasized how traditional Chinese management philosophy focuses on people-oriented principles and values harmonious coexistence, ideas that remain relevant and insightful in modern corporate management.
During the tour, the students engaged in lively discussions on the similarities and differences between Chinese management thought and their own countries' management theories.
This event not only provided international students with a more direct and in-depth understanding of Chinese management thought but also offered them a platform to showcase themselves and exchange ideas. The Overseas Education School remains committed to fostering among international students an appreciation for Chinese culture and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE), continuing to provide diverse and enriching opportunities for cultural exchange and learning, thus enhancing mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
